Review of literature on the prescriptions of splenogastric diseases



Abstract
This study has been carried out to investigate the prescriptions of splenogastric diseases by refferring to 46 literature.
@ES The results were obtained as follows:
@EN 1. Among the prescriptions for splenogastric diseases, the prescriptions for deficiency of the spleen were most used.
2. In case of deficiency of the spleen. The treatments are invigorating function of the spleen and resolving dampness.
In case of excessiveness of the spleen. The treatments are dispelling dampness and circulation of Qi.
3. In case of deficiency of spleen and deficiency of stomach. The treatments of them are reinforcing vital energy and resolving dampness.
The herbs which used for treatment of each case are alike.
4. In prescription for excessiveness of spleen, the function of the herbs was the treatment of water retention.
In prescription for excessiveness of stomach, the function of the herbs was the treatment of food stagnancy in the stomach and water retention.
5. The function of the herbs for cold in the stomach was warming the middle burner.
The function of the herbs for evil heat in the stomach was removing endogenous heat and nourishing Yin.
6. In case of deficiency of Yin of the spleen. The treatment was reinforcin vital energy, nourishing the blood and nourishing Yin.
In case of deficiency of Yin fo the stomach, the treatment was removing endogenous heat and nourishing Yin.
